Fast depletion of forests due to haphazard road construction, sans environmental concerns, has disturbed ecological balance in the State. Sai Eternal Foundation envisages supplementing the efforts of State towards preservation of ecological balance. The Company has worked to popularize the concept of Rainwater harvesting in irrigation-deficit areas and appropriate technologies for water resources development and management and to provide water for life saving irrigation.
The Company has also constructed check dams for rain water storage for irrigation purposes. To conserve environment Company is promoting plantation through people participation. The Foundation distributed and planted more than 1 lakh Chanden Plants. It has also distributed and planted other medicinal Plants like Pipal, Beel, Moringa, Neem etc. in various areas of Himachal Pradesh including Dhartidhar in district Sirmour of Himachal Pradesh where the foundation has adopted 26 Panchayats to raise the living standard.
